One credit equals one successful API call. Requests that return a 4xx or 5xx error do not consume credits. Every response includes a credits_remaining field so you always know your balance.
Credits on paid plans never expire. If you buy 1,000 credits on the Starter plan and only use 400, the remaining 600 stay in your balance. On the Free plan, your 100 starting credits also never expire.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Your API key stays the same when you change plans — no code changes needed.
When your credit balance reaches zero, API calls will return a 403 Forbidden response. You'll receive a warning notification in your dashboard when your balance drops below 20%. You can top up at any time.
The Free plan gives you 100 credits to evaluate RegIntel with no time limit and no credit card required. This covers most prototyping and evaluation needs before committing to a paid plan.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Monthly plans are billed on the same date each month. One-time credit packs are a single charge with no recurring commitment. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard.
